The participants were facing challenges during their transition from the level of First Time Managers to their current role of Middle Management and hence there was a need on building critical competencies required to shift to the Middle Management Position.
Solution created collectively
The coaching process began in 4 batches of 20 each by making the participants' understand their role as a leader and the competencies required for the same. The participants were then trained on delegation and coaching and also on assertive communication. The focus of the intervention was on customer focus, leading teams and strategic thinking followed by designing action plan.
At the end of the session participants benefitted in many ways. They were able to communicate assertively, manage time effeciently and helped in resolving conflicts. They were able to understand the importance of accountability and mindfulness and its impact on achieving self-mastery.
