The award for “The Emerging Business Leader of the Year” went to Bhargav Jangle, Executive Director at SJ Contracts. Sharing his experience of discussing his nomination with his father, Bhargav said his father made a joke saying “your beard is almost half white and you are still just emerging”. But his father was immensely proud and in his acceptance speech Bhargav said “I think when I walked in here today and being, a part of this function today, I think I’m going to walk out of here being one of the biggest winners because, being nominated and being recognized along with such accomplished individuals like you all and, stalwarts of various sectors, just gives me a sense that today I have earned my place at the table where all the big boys and girls sit”.
Committed to Creating a Healthier Urban Ecosystem
In addition to such initiatives, SJ Contracts also aims to create a healtier urban ecosystem by contributing to projects that are involved in reducing human-animal conflicts and urban waste management as part of its CSR Mission.
At the conclusion of his acceptance speech, Bhargav said the feeling was exhilarating and he was honored to receive the ISLA Emerging Business Leader of the Year Award. The award provided him with a boost of enthusiasm and energy to continue driving business process improvements through inclusivity and trust.
